Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H linux build



Debian linux Wheezy (debian-7.1.0-amd64) does not recognize the intel i217V GbE LAN chip.

Possible problems  resolved in latest build of Eth driver:

Download e1000e (e1000e-2.5.4.tar.gz is current as of 9/14/2013) from

1) Install Wheezy without LAN

2) TAR -xvzf e10001-2.5.4.tar.gz to USB flash drive

3) from /src dir on flash drive make install

4) modprobe e1000e
